I'm excited to announce I just released 300 (dead spartans) on itch!

It's a game where you are generals in Xerxes' army during the Battle of Thermopylae, telling war stories between attempts to break the Spartan line at the Hot Gates. You also play while bowling. #ttrpg #larp

My friend and amazing artist Nate Marcel contributed some wonderful art for the game, but the cover was done by my brother! You can print it as a minibook on a single sheet of paper, print it as a half sheet zine booklet, or just play it off your phone!

Community copies are available if you can't afford it, but it's very affordable at the low price of 300 pennies.

I originally wrote the game with Robert Bruce back in 2013 for a small local house con. Up until now we only sold copies at conventions!

The mechanics are similar to The Extraordinary Adventures of Baron Munchausen. As you brag about some tall tale you're at the center of, the other players take turns interrupting you, challenging your version of events. Then they bowl, and how well they bowl decides who's right.

I should call it a BARPG (Bowling Alley Role Playing Game)...
